Carla's brides: Valeria

I met Valeria in the summer of 2010, we worked together in a tourist village, she was the choreographer and I was the costume designer. Since that summer we have become inseparable. Twice she was my model, once in Rome and once in Ascoli Piceno.

When she announced that she was getting married that year, I immediately thought that I should somehow make her dress, she lives in Puglia and I am in the Marche region.

Her wedding lasted two days, not surprisingly it was the classic wedding in the south!

Made up of 90 meters of tulle and other fabrics (duchesse, rigid tulle, organza), Virginia's was truly the most elaborate and particular dress I've ever made!

I did a bit of research on the model I had in mind for her, and on a small mannequin I made her what would be her real dress. There were layers and layers of tulle, the draped bodice, the sleeves to remove during the ceremony ... I had created the dress for my bride who, as soon as she saw it, said "Yes, it's it!"

I met Sabrina through my first wife Claudia.

She was my second bride, it was 2014. Together we bought the fabrics, chose the accessories and the shoes.

I remember all the rehearsals and laughter that each time gladdened those moments.

Sabrina's dress was mermaid-style with a double bodice, underneath in duchesse with a sweetheart neckline, above in Chantilly lace with sleeves, then many chiffon skirts with a train ... the exaltation of elegance and refinement!

Claudia was my first bride and the first is never forgotten!

When she asked me to make her dress, we were in a van, returning from a show on stilts (we met in a wading company).

We didn't really know each other and I was very happy, I felt all the trust she had placed in me!
The emotion was so strong that I bought a lot of wedding dress magazines to study the various models.
